Past Events

Over the course of 2024, Wessex Film and Sound Archive (WFSA) has hosted an array of exciting events in Andover as part of our community engagement project, Andover: An Overspill Story.

At these events, we engaged local communities with WFSA content and started a dialogue with individuals about their heritage. By raising awareness around the importance of archiving and collecting material that reflects the diversity of lived experience, we hope that adding part of your story to WFSA becomes a feature of more people’s routine.

You can find out more about upcoming events here.

If you would like to support us in hosting an event or have footage that you’d like to deposit with us, please use our contact form or email: archives.enquiries@hants.gov.uk

The events that we have hosted as part of this project are listed below. If you attended any of these, please do take a few moments to fill out our feedback form – we really appreciate your feedback and use it to shape future events: https://forms.office.com/e/AZjZbPC3kM
